GLUTRAN: a Matlab toolbox for glucose tracer analysis
نویسنده
چکیده
GLUTRAN (glucose tracer analysis) is a collection of Matlab functions for the calculation of glucose fluxes in non-steady state from tracer data. GLUTRAN is based on the circulatory model for glucose kinetics described by Mari et al. (1; 2). Each function of the toolbox performs a specific task in the analysis of the tracer data; the collection of these functions allows the user to solve a variety of tracer problems. Matlab is required to perform the calculations (details on Matlab requirements and GLUTRAN installation are given in Appendix 1). The Matlab interface is a command window; the functions are thus executed as commands and not using a graphical interface (see Appendix 2 for a quick outline of the Matlab command interface). The functions used to solve a specific problem (e.g. calculation of glucose absorption and production during an oral glucose load) are typically grouped in a Matlab script and executed in sequence.

We describe the continuous time random walk (CTRW) MATLAB toolbox, a collection of MATLAB scripts and functions that compute breakthrough curves (BTCs) and one-dimensional/two-dimensional (1D/2D) resident concentration profiles for passive tracer dispersion. The transport model is based on the CTRW theory. CTRW includes as special cases the classical Fickian dispersion based advection-dispersio...

SUMMARY We introduce a novel Matlab toolbox for microarray data analysis. This toolbox uses normalization based upon a normally distributed background and differential gene expression based on five statistical measures. The objects in this toolbox are open source and can be implemented to suit your application. AVAILABILITY MDAT v1.0 is a Matlab toolbox and requires Matlab to run. MDAT is fre...

متن کاملMatlab–Based Toolbox for Analysing Differential Linear Repetitive Processes
A short overview of a Matlab–based toolbox developed to support the control-related analysis of a subclass of nD systems called differential linear repetitive processes (LRP) is the subject of this paper. Its main functionality covers two different areas. First the toolbox allows one to build discrete approximations of continuous–time LRPs and then perform analysis/simulation verification studi...
